In my previous article I did write about cheap internet browsing in town that will allow you have access to the internet for 30 days with a limitation of 100mgb.Yes with zain and etisalat offering that data plan you can enjoy internet access with ease.
In that article I only talk about it but I did not show you how to activate it to start enjoying it and this is I what I intend doing now just follow this instruction and you will be able to enjoy the cheap internet access in town.
Before you can have access to this service you must ensure that your mobile phone has been configure to browse the internet and if you have yet not configure your mobile phone which I expect to be a nokia mobile phone because it is the one suitable for this connection please do browse through this blog to find my previous article on how to configure your mobile phone to browse the internet,this will help you to configure your mobile phone and if that is done then you need to also configure your laptop or desktop as well. And if all of that is done then depending on the network operator you choose they have different way of activating their data plan and to start with is zain.
To activate zain 100mgb of #1000:00 you will load a credit of #1000:00 on your zain line then type *141*712*4# on your mobile phone and send. You will receive a message welcoming you to 100mgb data plan for 30 days. please do note that if you do not send this code and you have load #1000 on your mobile phone and you just connect like that your money will quickly be exhausted within a short time so in order not to experience this you must ensure that you activate the data plan by sending the code. To check balance of data usage just type *141*712*0# and send the balance will be sent to you immediately.
Same also apply with Etisalat you must load #1000:00 on your mobile phone and call customer care of etisalat on 200 to tell them of your intention to use their 100mgb(mega byte) of their data plan and they will activate it for you on the line you want to use. Do note that etisalat will want you to buy their USB modem and their Data sim which cost #14700:00 to get but you can use your normal sim forget about what they tell you that it will not work. It has been tested to be working just tell them to activate it for you, but if you can afford their USB modem then go for it it will serve you better. It is just that with mobile phone when you are not browsing on your laptop or desktop you can still take it to where you go and still be able to browse on your mobile phone with the same 100mgb.
So which ever one you choose to use they will serve you better. To check your data usage send *232# or call customer care on 200 and your balance will be communicated to you. for more on etisalat visit here
